To all D4 Trapezium users
First of all, thank you for purchasing or testing D4's Trapezium Portaledge. The Trapezium was the first "odd-shaped" portaledge, and the first fully stormproof portaledge technology that fit into a daypack.

Most of the Trapeziums we sold were made in small batches, and some used different tubing and fabric than others.
What I am hoping you can do is provide feedback on your use of the Trapezium by starting a new topic on the "D4 Portaledge Reviews and Feedback" board here: http://bigwallsforum.com/index.php/board,4.0.html
You will need to register to the new Bigwalls Forum, which I hope will be a hub for big wall tools and techniques.
Feel free to post frank reviews, and please type the topic of the review "D4 Trapezium Review" with your main place of use. A photo of your ledge added (as an attachment to the post) would be super helpful.
I have spare parts for the Trapezium, and can send new parts to anyone who needs them. Please respond to this email if you need replacement parts for the Trapezium.
One thing we discovered is that we were making some models out of a stiff PVC coated fabric (blue or green), which seemed to have the advantage of a firmer bed, but we have found that the stiff material definitely make the ledge harder to set up and disassemble. If you have the stiffer fabric, please note that in your review.
I am getting another batch of D4 t-shirts, and will send one to a reviewer chosen at random if you post your review before October 31, 2019.
Thank you for your interest and support in D4 products. Based on what we have learned with the D4 Trapezium and Octapod, which have been used on dozens of routes now, has been key to some new D4 developments (a new design) which will be announced soon.
Yours,
John Middendorf
