Just Interviewed Christina and saw your remarkable drone footage of the Trango Massif. Congratulations! Hey Erich, I am continuing John's work on Trango and producing a history book. Your photos would be an essential addition. Would you be willing to discuss it? My email address is paul@paulpritchard.com.au
I have been given permission from John's partner, Jeni, to continue this important work. At the moment, I am collecting first-hand stories through interviews - there are some truly jaw-dropping episodes that deserve to be more widely known. My aim is to produce a really nice book that will be co-wrote with John.
I have written a bunch of stories already and detected common themes of grit and determination, extreme patience and a large helping of luck.
I know John was keen on open source information and put his D4 designs and Vols I & II of his Mechanical Advantage - but it is my aim to secure a publisher and produce a professional volume.
I'm aiming to have a first draft by the end of the year.

Thanks, but still incomplete. Next step is to scour all the available journals. Then it will be time to tell some stories! There are some amazing ones
